Code of Conduct & Export Compliance

Last updated: October 2026

RBM Oil Corporation aims to be a fair, honest and lawful business partner in India and in every country we supply. This code sets out the standards we hold ourselves to and expect from our distributors, suppliers and other business partners.

Honest and lawful business

We comply with the laws that apply to our business and deal with customers, suppliers and competitors fairly. We describe our products truthfully and do not make claims about performance or approvals that we cannot support.

No bribery or improper payments

We do not offer, give, ask for or accept bribes, kickbacks or other improper payments, whether directly or through a third party, to or from government officials or anyone else, to win or keep business or gain an unfair advantage. We follow the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and similar laws in the countries we trade with. Gifts and hospitality must be modest, infrequent, openly given and never intended to influence a decision.

Conflicts of interest

People working for us must avoid situations where personal interests conflict, or appear to conflict, with the interests of the company, and must disclose any such situation.

Export and trade compliance

We comply with Indian export control, customs and foreign trade laws and with the sanctions regimes that apply to a transaction. We do not knowingly supply to sanctioned persons, entities or destinations, or for uses prohibited by law. We may ask a buyer for end-user and end-destination details, and we may refuse or suspend a shipment where we have concerns. Buyers and distributors must not resell our products in breach of these rules.

Health, safety and environment

We aim to supply products with accurate safety data sheets and labels, to handle and store materials safely in our operations, and to dispose of waste responsibly in line with applicable regulations. We expect our partners to handle, store and dispose of our products, and used oil, safely and lawfully.

Fair treatment of people

We treat employees and others with respect, provide equal opportunity, and do not use forced or child labour. We expect our suppliers and distributors to do the same.

Confidentiality and data

We protect confidential business information and personal data, as set out in our Privacy Policy, and expect our partners to do likewise.

Raising a concern

If you are aware of conduct that breaches this code, please tell us at sales@rbmoilcorporation.in (subject: "Conduct concern"). We will look into it carefully and treat the report in confidence. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
