Distributor Terms

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply to anyone who applies to become a distributor of RBM Oil Corporation products and set out the general basis on which approved distributors work with us. They do not by themselves appoint a distributor; that happens only through a written distribution agreement signed by us.

Applications

Submitting the distributor form does not guarantee appointment. We review each application on business standing, experience, infrastructure and market coverage, and may ask for more information, references or documents such as registrations, tax numbers and trade licences. We may accept, decline or defer any application at our discretion. The details you provide must be true and complete.

Appointment

A distributor is appointed only on signing a written distribution agreement, which will state the products, territory, any exclusivity, targets, pricing, payment and credit terms. If anything in these terms conflicts with the signed agreement, the agreement prevails.

Use of the RBM name and brand

A distributor may use the RBM name, logo and marketing material only as permitted in writing, and only to promote genuine RBM products. All goodwill from that use belongs to RBM Oil Corporation. Distributors must not register any name, domain or social media account that is confusingly similar to ours.

Genuine products and quality

Distributors must sell only genuine RBM products in their original sealed packaging, store them as set out in the data sheets, and must not refill, relabel, dilute, blend or tamper with them. They must tell us promptly about complaints, suspected counterfeits or product-safety concerns.

Pricing and sales

Prices, discounts and credit terms are set out in the agreement and our current price communications. Unless the agreement says otherwise, distributors are independent businesses and set their own resale prices. A distributor is not our agent or employee and cannot bind us to any commitment.

Compliance and conduct

Distributors must comply with all laws that apply to their business, including taxes, licensing, labelling, environmental and used-oil regulations, and must follow our Code of Conduct & Export Compliance, including the rules against bribery and improper payments.

Confidentiality

Prices, formulation information, customer lists and other non-public information we share must be kept confidential and used only for the distribution business.

Termination

We may stop considering an application, or end a distribution relationship as the agreement allows, if a distributor breaks these terms, sells non-genuine products, damages our brand or breaks the law.

Personal data and law

We handle distributor application data under our Privacy Policy. These terms are governed by Indian law and the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the signed agreement says otherwise.
