Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

RBM Oil Corporation ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through rbm.apexapps.in, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Who we are

RBM Oil Corporation is a manufacturer, supplier and exporter of automotive lubricants, industrial lubricants and greases, based at Sr. No. 42, Rasikwadi, Jambe Road, Punawale, Pune 411033, Maharashtra, India.

For the purposes of this policy we are the party that decides why and how your personal data is processed.

Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us, plus basic technical data.

  • Enquiries and contact forms: your name, company, email, phone number and the content of your message.
  • Quote requests (Quote Builder): the products and quantities you select, plus your name, company, email, phone number and any message or delivery details.
  • TDS / MSDS requests: your name, email, phone number and the product whose document you requested.
  • Distributor applications: your name, business name, contact details, location, business background and any other details you include.
  • Job applications: your name, contact details, qualifications and experience, and the resume (PDF) you upload.
  • Phone, email and WhatsApp conversations you start with us.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device and pages visited, recorded in standard server logs for security and reliability.

Why we use your information

We use your personal data only for purposes you would reasonably expect:

  • to respond to your enquiry and prepare quotations;
  • to send the technical or safety documents you requested;
  • to evaluate a distributor application and manage a distributor relationship;
  • to consider you for a job opening;
  • to arrange supply, dispatch, invoicing and export documentation after an order;
  • to keep the website secure, prevent misuse and fix technical problems; and
  • to meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

We process your data on the basis of your consent (for example when you submit a form) or for the legitimate uses the law permits. We do not use your data for automated decisions that significantly affect you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

We share it only where needed to run our business:

  • service providers that host this website, deliver email and operate our customer and recruitment management tools, who may act only on our instructions;
  • logistics, shipping and customs partners, limited to the details needed to deliver an order or complete export paperwork;
  • professional advisers such as auditors and lawyers; and
  • government or regulatory authorities where we are legally required to.

Resumes and job applications

Resumes are stored privately and are visible only to people involved in hiring. We keep applications for as long as the opening is active and normally for up to 12 months afterwards so we can consider you for similar roles. You can ask us to delete your application at any time.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires (for example, accounting and tax records). When it is no longer needed we delete it or make it anonymous.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted internal access, to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we act promptly if an incident occurs.

Transfers outside India

Some of our service providers may store or process data on servers outside India. Where that happens we take steps to ensure your data is handled with an appropriate level of care and in line with applicable law.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website uses only the minimal browser storage needed for it to work. See our Cookie Policy for the full details.

Your rights

Under Indian data protection law you can:

  • ask what personal data of yours we hold and how it is used;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • ask us to erase your data, unless we must keep it by law;
  • withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing already done); and
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.

To exercise a right, write to us at sales@rbmoilcorporation.in. We may need to verify your identity first.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
